Hello blognation!

Matt and I are in Buena Vista, Colorado photographing one of my best friend’s wedding. Here’s a little glimpse of what’s to come soon on this here bliggity blog:

We’re staying in the guest house at Frontier Ranch. For all of you who have been to Frontier Ranch, we will enjoy this place for you! We wish that you could be here too enjoying this amazing place. I’ll try to post some of our adventures everyday this weekend. Hopefully it will make you feel like you’re here with us.

Life and I packed up and headed to the Arboretum to meet my sisters-in-law and Life’s cousins last week. It was an amazingly beautiful day to be on the lawn of the Arboretum! We ate and dressed the girls up in cutie little tutus that my sister-in-law (Amy) made for the girls.  Life, Campbell and Noelle are all within a year and a half of each other so it will be so much fun for them to grow up together. I love it that we live close enough to each other that we can all get together on a whim.

I love this little life and Life that we have been given. These girls are some of my favorite human beings in the whole wide world! Please… go ahead… enjoy their cuteness! Hopefully it will make your day a little brighter!

Bill 'Pops' Carter: These are my grand Daughters of which I am so very proud of their mommies and them for they are so beautiful with personalities that equal or exceed even those of their parents which are so magnificent and entertaining that they make me the most happy when they are all together in our home and when they all get into the jacuzzi tub together, they are all smiles with tons of bubbles all over their heads and the bathroom, giggling and laughing, memories they will long remember after we,their grandparents are gone from this fun life with them. Awaken Movement came together to serve the Boys and Girls Club of Rockwall, TX the other day. Painting, gardening, petting zoos, clowns, music, and much more all came together in the name of Jesus to serve the Boys and Girls Club.

Christensen Family

The Christensen family saw my work on my sister-in-law’s Facebook page and hired me to do their family session because of it. (Thanks Facebook and sister!) So on Good Friday,  Matt and I headed out to Richardson where I grew up to photograph their family session at Prairie Creek. When Julie recommended it, I knew just where to go because this area is A) really close to where I grew up and B) where I took my awesomely dated Senior portraits! I looked back at those the other day and nearly gagged. They were not cool. Not cool at all.

But the Christensen’s are SO cool and their photos turned out super rad!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful family! You guys are wonderful!
