Sheryl & Bret were married this past Saturday and it was such a beautiful day. Sheryl was a gorgeous bride. I finally get to share with you her lovelyness

Jamie and Ryan got married on Saturday at Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas and had their {AMAZING} reception at F.I.G. {Fashion Industry Gallery} downtown. Jamie and I were in the same sorority in college and Saturday I had the privilege to photograph her wedding. Words fail me when I try to describe the beauty that is Jamie. She is an amazingly kind person who cares more about others than herself. I was blown away watching her talk to {seriously} all 500 guests at her wedding. I didn’t see her eat… and I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t because she just wanted to make sure that everyone was having a great time. I just love her. I just love everything about who she is! It was an honor to be your photographer, Jamie & Ryan!

Janet’s bridal shoot was oh so glam! The day began with Miss Amber Downs doing Janet’s make up here and then we all packed up and headed to Park Cities Baptist Church where we shot for about 2 hours. Amber is an amazingly talented make up artist and I was honored to have her accompany us the whole day. Janet is a gorgeous bride with a beautiful spirit about her. Her graceful poise made the photos turn out truly elegant. Congratulations to you, Janet. I wish you two all the best and I hope that you love these photos for a lifetime. You’re gorgeous inside and out!

A little in studio portrait work to start the day:

Amber was on set with us to do touch ups. It makes all the difference to have the make-up artist on set. So girls, if you hire Amber to come along with us on the shoot… I promise, promise, promise that it will be worth it! She’s incredible and has such a keen eye for detail.
