::: Almost Two :::

3 July 2010

Our little girl is almost two years old and every time I think about it, I wonder where the time went. She is our gift. A wonderful, heaven-sent gift. What an amazing person our little Life is and will become. Here she is at 23 months (or as she likes to call it “almost two!”):

Found this little treasure buried in some old files tonight and it made me smile. Here’s Life at one year old, 8 months ago! I can’t believe how much she’s changed. Updated pics of her will be coming to the blog soon…

This year I have spent more time in the Thanksgiving spirit than usual. Normally, after Thanksgiving dinner is cleaned up I’m onto Christmas and ready to figure out what Matt is or has already gotten me. :) (I admit, I am the queen of figuring out surprises!) But, this year, as our little girl gets older I just can’t get over how thankful I am for her. She’s an amazing human being. So sweet, so  loving, so happy, so kind to others, so perfect in every way. Thinking about how much I admire a 16 month old is a little strange, but then again, if you met her I’m pretty convinced you would understand. For all that she has been through, she deserves nothing less than the world. I hope with all that I am that she knows how amazing we think she is…

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of friends, family and great food, but mostly thankfulness.
