Beautiful Ashley! The word that I use to describe her is “graceful.” Every photo that we took during her bridal portrait session is filled with grace and purity. She laughs freely and is spontaneously up for any creative concept designed by the oh-so-talented, Heather DeStena. The joy is all mine to serve as Ashley and Dmitry’s wedding photographer. When Heather first came up with this concept shoot I knew the perfect couple that would fit the look that we were going for. Thiago is from Brazil and has the most beautiful accent you have ever heard and Ryan is a gorgeous girl from Dallas with a big heart and love for people. They were married in December 2009 and their newlywed love is written all over their faces.  They made the PERFECT couple for this “Our First House” concept shoot.

Lauren and Preston have such beautiful spirits. I left our session together totally blessed by them.They are both super artistic, open and kind. I loooved our time we spent on their engagement session and I especially loved all the art they brought to the shoot.

Lauren is an incredible artist and brought some of her art books and journals to the shoot to add some flava-flave.

Shannon and Chase were so trusting and gave us free reign with producing their engagement shoot. We started the shoot off at the greatest flower shop in Lakewood: Redenta’s Garden. If you live around the Lakewood area in Dallas, check them out for your gardening needs. Their shop is charming and idyllic. After Redenta’s, we headed to Corner Market on lower Greenville Avenue for some Coca Cola Classic & cupcake goodness. My amazing assistant, Heather, had the cupcake that is pictured specially made for Shannon and Chase from Society Bakery. It was a big hit! And gosh, I just love the last location! Finishing the shoot up at my favorite little spot at White Rock Lake is the best way to end an engagement shoot. We loved loved loved every minute of this shoot and the way these photos turned out!
