Albeit, this was by far the coldest shoot of the winter that I shot. FREEZING cold water, cold winds with the wind chill in the teens, but these guys are ridiculously brave and so willing to do what it takes for a great image.
 They are ridiculously talented songwriters and when their work is up, I will post the link so you can hear their great tunes. I’m honored to have taken their promo photos!

When Heather first came up with this concept shoot I knew the perfect couple that would fit the look that we were going for. Thiago is from Brazil and has the most beautiful accent you have ever heard and Ryan is a gorgeous girl from Dallas with a big heart and love for people. They were married in December 2009 and their newlywed love is written all over their faces.  They made the PERFECT couple for this “Our First House” concept shoot.

It has been so cool to see the publication at various places around town and posters of our work hanging on different billboards and signs. This was a really great project and  H O L T  D E S I G N,  I N C. did a great job of laying out the work. To all who worked so hard on this project: Catherine Cochran, Stacie Adams, Laura Korenman, Christine Pev, Erin, Holt Design, Jaap and all the symphony members, and the wonderful sound and lighting technicians who made this project possible, thank you for the privilege to serve alongside you guys! This was an incredible job to be a part of and I enjoyed every minute serving them. When I say that “I love the Symphony,” I can’t actually emphasize the word love enough. I find myself captivated in a some space and time that is almost heavenly when I listen to them play. I’m in a world where time stands still. Where I feel life. So, the treat was all mine to stand up on stage while Jaap conducted his amazing Symphony. I was brought to tears several times as I watched, photographed and relished in the fact that I was standing on stage photographing the Dallas Symphony play their music. It seemed like a moment in time that was created just for the pleasure of my own heart. I know it might sound cheesy, but we all have moments like that if we let ourselves. There was no cheese about it. Just a moment that I felt like was created for my heart to worship.

Over the course of this week, I’ll be posting more photos from my time spent at the DSO. But for now, here are a few of the lovely Meyerson.
