It never fails that at least once a day after I sweep, he finds food in some strange place… and eats it. 100% toddler. I’m currently working on my sweeping form to remedy this.
He’s happy, adventurous, fun, curious and social. I love my little toddler like crazy! He has me wrapped around his finger.

It’s 25 degrees today and this girl decided that nothing other than her swimsuit will do for her. So, after August wakes up from his nap we are going to go get a membership at the JCC and swim in their heated pool. She thinks that this may be the greatest day of her life. It’s like summer year-round at the JCC!
Little girl wasn’t too happy that I was taking her photo. So, I told her that she could get a treat if she smiled for me. Bribery at its finest.

Here’s a session from 2012 that I hadn’t yet blogged. The beautiful Ballard family. The Ballards are some of the most loving, kind and generous friends of ours. They are smart, curious, spontaneous, readers, gardeners, runners, parents, entrepreneurs, eco-friendly, Austinites, cool, inspirational, rock climbers, mountaineers, builders, etc., etc., etc., and some of the most holy people we know. For that reason and all the others as well, they are Lucy’s God parents… and we think they are the best. (We are God parents to their little girl, Eden, as well. But they far surpass us in God parent awesomeness. Not that it’s a competition though.)
