Yesterday, we photographed the all-talented musical genius band, Sleeperstar, and had a blast. Here is a little teaser preview of some shots we got.

We have had some crazy past two weeks of traveling. A couple weeks ago we spent the weekend in Austin photographing Lauren and Chris’ beautiful wedding (pics to come soon!) and this past weekend we spent at Midtowne Church’s DNow in Benton, Arkansas where Matt spoke. We had the fun privilege to travel along with some of our good buddies, the incredibly talented Matt Wheeler Band, because they lead worship for the weekend. These guys are amazing musicians and it’s seriously like listening to a good piece of art being played on instruments when they play. If you’re looking for musicians for any special occasion, you should hire them! You will love them!

Matt and Amy were married on December 27, 2008 in Beaumont, Texas at the lovely downtown Episcopal Church where our good friend, Jason, is currently working. Amy and I were friends in college and became even better friends through being sweethearts for the Aggie Men’s Club. My hubby officiated their wedding while I photographed and we had an absolute blast catching up with a ton of our college friends. I love it that when we all hang out, it’s like we’ve never been away from each other.
Congrats my sweet friends! You two are lovely people and I’m honored to know you.

Sir Jason Ballard is well on his way to being ordained into the Priesthood. I got the lucky job of taking his photo for the WWW and other such publications that require a little photog.
Jason and Jenny are some of our dearest friends in the world, and we just can’t wait for the day when we’ll be living close to each other. For now, at least being in the same great state is a plus!
