L came down the stairs one morning in December carrying her little lamb. She stood by the window and let me take this sweet (and rare) photo.  When asked by a friend of ours what “animal” she was, L looked at her and responded “a lamb.” No one has ever told her that, but I thought that was a pretty perfect response.

I love this photo of our messy hair, almost awake, morning lamb.

 

Bethany and Ross were married in May of 2012 in Houston, Texas. It just so happens that Ross is from Connecticut and Bethany lived in Connecticut before they moved to Texas.  I was able to photograph their beautiful Texas wedding a few months before we moved up here to CT and I think of these beautiful people often as I explore our new state. To celebrate the launch of this gorgeous magazine, I joined Hailey and Rhet in Chapel Hill, North Carolina last Thursday at the V5 Launch Party that was held at the Carolina Inn. Rhet (being the busy Anesthesiologist) was able to take off time at work and come and celebrate with his lovely bride all the way from Florida. It was a treat getting to spend time with them and share in the celebration of the launch of V5. It was also really special to see the ladies of Southern Weddings who worked so hard to put together this beautiful magazine.
